Slate is a natural stone: every coaster has its own markings and edge, and no two are exactly alike. Clean with water and a cloth only; if the stone turns a little grey over time, rub in a little olive oil and it will regain its deep, dark colour.
Whisky is a ritual for me, and the small things around it complete that ritual. I choose accessories that are beautiful to look at and pleasant to use.
