Fill it, wait a few weeks and taste the difference. The Porthole Decanter is a compact mini cask of black-charred American oak with two glass windows, so you can follow the maturation process up close. This version has a capacity of 500 ml.
Fill it with new make spirit (60 to 65% ABV) and watch the wood add colour and flavour within a few weeks. You can also use it for a finish after a previous filling with sherry, rum or gin, or for barrel-aged cocktails such as a Negroni or Manhattan, which are ready after about a week. An original gift for the enthusiast who loves to experiment.
