From shared passion to the destination for whisky lovers.

Mood4Whisky was born from a simple thought: good whisky deserves a good story.

What started with discovering new distilleries, long evenings of tasting, and traveling through Scotland, slowly grew into a webshop for people who share the same passion.

We believe that whisky is much more than a drink. Behind every bottle lies craftsmanship, tradition, and character. That is why we select our range not based on quantity, but on quality. Only products that we fully stand behind are given a place in our collection.

Whether you are buying your first single malt, looking for a special gift, or expanding your collection with an exclusive bottling; we are happy to help you make the right choice.

Meet the team

With a good whisky, you first read the tasting notes. So we do that here as well. Meet the two people behind Mood4Whisky.

🥃 Edwin

Type: Single Malt, matured in Scotland, finished around the world
Status: Certified Whisky Ambassador & Advanced Whisky Ambassador

Nose: A strong hint of the Scottish Highlands, wet heather, and the longing for the next distillery.

Taste: Full passion with a long love for Scotland. That's where it all began, and that's where he keeps returning. One visit is never enough.

Finish: Long, very long. The love for whisky travels everywhere now. Even during a “regular” vacation in France, a distillery must be visited. Just for a moment.

Special feature: Edwin has given his passion a solid foundation. He completed the Whisky Ambassador course and the Advanced Whisky Ambassador course. He can officially call himself Certified Whisky Ambassador . When he recommends something to you, he knows what he is talking about.

🌸 Miriam

Type: Light, refined, and surprisingly versatile
Status: The flavor maker who won't be told what is delicious

Neus: Fresh and elegant, with a clear preference for lighter whiskies.

Smaak: A regular at The Pot Still in Glasgow, her favorite whisky café. There she always finds something she can truly appreciate. In recent years, a Japanese touch has been added: the new Japanese whiskies are particularly to Miriam's taste.

Afdronk: With a twist of gin. The Isle of Harris Gin remains a favorite. And to be fair: that beautiful bottle certainly contributes to it.

Special feature: Miriam is the living proof that whisky doesn't have to be heavy, smoky, or complicated to be enjoyable.

Together: the perfect blend

Edwin with his knowledge and his endless distillery trips. Miriam with her fine nose for the light and the surprising. Together we taste, search, and select whiskies that we stand behind. This way, at Mood4Whisky, everyone finds something that suits their mood : the seasoned enthusiast and the curious beginner.
