A golf motif, engraved in slate: these coasters from Just Slate Company are made for anyone who likes to linger over a drink after a round of golf. Scotland is the birthplace of the game, and that shows in this sturdy, dark design.
A fitting gift for the golfer who likes to round off a game with a good glass. At home or in the clubhouse, they keep glasses neatly in place and the tabletop unmarked. With four in the set, you have enough for the whole fourball. Also available in Scottish oak.
Slate is a natural stone: every coaster has its own markings and edge, and no two are exactly alike. Clean with water and a cloth only; if the stone turns a little grey over time, rub in a little olive oil and it will regain its deep, dark colour.
Whisky is a ritual for me, and the small things around it complete that ritual. I choose accessories that are beautiful to look at and pleasant to use.
