This gift set from Just Slate Company bears the silhouette of the red deer, best known in Scotland from the painting Monarch of the Glen. The glass, coaster and whisky stones are all engraved with the same motif, so the set forms a coherent whole.
The red deer has the most direct association with the Scottish Highlands, making it a safe choice if you are looking for a gift with recognisable Scottish symbolism. With the whisky stones you can chill your dram without ice diluting it; the tongs and storage pouch keep everything neatly together. A lovely gift for nature lovers or for anyone who wants to give their whisky corner a Scottish touch.
Whisky is a ritual for me, and the small things around it complete that ritual. I choose accessories that are beautiful to look at and pleasant to use.
