Who, when and why

Great for everyday use, especially if guests regularly drop by for a drink. With four balls per mould, you soon have enough ice for a few glasses. Looking for larger balls for a single glass of whisky? Then also take a look at the mould with two 4.5 cm ice balls.

Good to know

  • Fill the mould slowly to keep air bubbles to a minimum.
  • Use filtered water if possible for clearer ice.
  • Wrap the filled mould loosely in a tea towel: the water then freezes more slowly, which often gives clearer ice.
  • Leave the mould at room temperature for 1 to 2 minutes before removing the ice.
